Melissa and Tina, a life coach and a therapist, joined together to bring you Sweet Relief from the Everyday Narcissist. This site sweetens the relief, by offering ongoing support and encouragement.

"It's all about taking good care of ourselves while in relationships with other people." – MELISSA

about.

Sweet Relief From the Everyday Narcissist came about after a series of impromptu conversations about narcissism between friends Melissa and Tina. Through those conversations, a book was born. Sweet Relief offers something most books on narcissism don't: a description of what it's like if you're in relationship with a narcissist (most books are just about the narcissist), insights into why it is the way it is, and many ideas about how you can take care of yourself. As collaborators, Tina and Melissa strive to provide clear (deep, yet concise) information about a confounding topic.

Melissa Schenker is a work/life coach who is the owner and principal at Work/Life, founded in 1996. Tina Moody is a practicing psychotherapist whose personal and professional experiences led to insights which deeply inform Sweet Relief. She has experience in faith, prison and hospital communities.
